I WONT COMPLAIN
Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.
Philippians 2:14-16 NKJV
Complaining is a result of a person’s being being affected by negativity. Sometimes, it is easy to just complain and waddle in that mood. We are surrounded by people who complain in our workplaces, in our families, in our church families, and among our friend circles. Isaiah said, “Woe is me, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips.” Instead of complaining, we can replace those negative statements with positive, Christ-honoring statements that bring glory to God for who He is and for what He has done. The children of Israel complained about so much until they became faithless and longed to go back to Egypt. Prayer: Lord, show me and convict me of complaining. Holy Spirit empower me to magnify God instead of my issues.
