Vacation,Moving and Work that’s what! Seriously though, this summer was a great and eventful one. With the process of moving, my husband and I were able to enjoy an awesome vacation for our second year wedding anniversary. Pensacola just called our names so loudly, so we answered. We wanted to see something different that included blue water and white beaches. Time off from the busyness of life is necessary. All work and no play? Never that! Going to Pensacola was a first for the both of us including staying at a bed and breakfast and not a hotel, added that homey feel we were looking for. Once we returned home, we were back to reality with the packing and to-do list of moving. I have had my share of moves from college to back home to on my own. This was my husband’s first move from his hometown. It was a different kind of move though. It was exciting, emotional and stressful at the same time. When you have a peace though about what God wants you to do, no one or nothing can stop what God has planned. Home for now is Metairie, a few minutes outside of New Orleans. In meantime, we will be prayerful and obedient to God’s plans for our lives.
Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord ’s purpose that prevails-Proverbs 19:21 NIV
